CH Rouxridge Queen of the Savanna BN, RN, NAP, OJP, THDN, CGC, ROM

Malkia is our original foundation girl and never ceased to amaze us.  “Malkia” is Swahili for “Queen”, and she definitely lived up to her name!!

We acquired Malkia from Sharon Leroux of Rouxridge Kennels in February 2012.  Her temperament was unbelievable, and her structure and movement were exceptional.  Malkia was highly successful not only in the conformation ring, but across a number of disciplines:

– Awarded AKC Star Puppy accreditation at 6 months of age

– Accredited with her Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and Therapy Dog International (TDI) titles at 18 months of age

– Attained AKC Championship at 19 months of age

– Competed successfully in the Rally ring, gaining her RN title with back to back qualifications

– Awarded her Obedience BN title before her second birthday

After gaining her TDI accreditation, we actively participated in Therapy work with special needs children and also worked with our local elementary school in their reading program.  Malkia was a natural with her calm demeanor and loving nature.

Malkia was unbelievable in the agility ring where she earned numerous titles.  As you can see, she loved to jump and run the various courses.
