Last weekend, Vesper made her debut in the Conformation ring.  Masterfully handled by Frank Murphy; Vesper was awarded Winners Bitch on 2 days and Best of Winners on Sunday.   What a wonderful start to her career.

Malkia and I have just finished a 3 day agility trial.  They were early starts each day and on Saturday, Malkia didn’t even want to get out of bed!!!!!

We had 3 qualifying runs.  2 in Open Standard and 1 in Excellent Jumpers.  What a hectic but fun weekend.  Go Malkia!!!!!  So much fun!!!!

Rhodesian Ridgeback Breeders | New purchase

I had been looking at the Variocage for some time, and I finally went ahead and just made the purchase.  I bought the Double Max, so there is plenty of room.  While it looks like a prison, I have it correctly anchored and know my girls are super safe when they are in the car traveling with me.  We just won’t tell Daddy how much we paid for it!!!!  The only problem is that there are no mats that fit the unusual size.  Problem solved – I made one and they love it.

Rhodesian Ridgeback Breeders | Back in the Agility ring

This weekend, Malkia and I had our first runs back in the agility ring for 2015.  It was a cold, snowy  weekend, but that didn’t stop Malkia.  We made our debut in the FAST class, with 2 qualifying runs.  For both of these runs, we also took 1st place.  Malkia has decided that she likes the free form nature of FAST.  On Friday, we also had our first qualifying run in Excellent Jumpers.  Go Malkia!!!!!
